35. Data Storage Within China

The personal information we collect and generate within the territory of the People's Republic of China will be stored within the territory of the People's Republic of China, and will not involve cross-border transmission.

In the future, if your personal information needs to be processed across borders — that is, if the relevant personal information collected in China needs to be transferred to overseas institutions — we will act in accordance with laws, administrative regulations, and the relevant regulatory authorities, and will ask for your consent and permission again before the data is transferred across borders. At the same time, we will detail the location and purpose of the data transfer in this Privacy Policy, so that you can always know where your personal information is stored, and we will adopt corresponding encryption, anonymization, and other technologies to ensure that your personal information is adequately protected during transmission.

We only store your personal information for the minimum period necessary for the purposes of this policy and within the time limits required by laws and regulations. To provide you with cloud recording services, the maximum storage period of videos captured by the smart hardware on the server is based on the "cloud recording" package you purchased. If you stop using the app or unbind the smart hardware, we will immediately stop collecting your personal information and will anonymize the personal information you have provided to us within a reasonable period.
